THE CHALLENGE

Disconnecting from the world in a remote place under the stars and being with friends or that special someone is something we all appreciate and seek – be it for a weekend, a vacation, or just a day. The trend of hotels in secluded areas far from the hustle and bustle of cities has been on the rise. La Guayulera is a new boutique hotel located in the city of Torreón, an hour away, situated in the community of Flor de Jimulco. This hotel offers a unique experience, set within a space that is over 100 years old, meticulously restored for maximum comfort. The idea behind it is to create a place where you can truly disconnect from the world, have fun, enjoy yourself, and learn about the area's history.

TROUBLESHOOTING / IDEA

Our challenge in developing the website was to play with endemic elements such as adobe and the guayul plant. We aimed not only to showcase the rooms and the location but also to convey the feeling of staying there, to tell its story, and explain why a hotel was created in this place where this type of offering didn't typically exist.

RESULTS

We designed a website that is fully indexable, with appropriate information and an eye-catching design. Since it's a new site, the visits have been favorable, and the bookings indicate that we have achieved the goal we set out to accomplish when starting this project.
